BCCI together with the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises, the Bulgarian-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Commercial Section of the Embassy of Greece in Sofia are organizing a Bulgarian-Greek Business Forum on October 3, 2024 at 10.00 a.m. at BCCI, floor 1, Hall A. Greece is a traditional economic partner of Bulgaria. Bilateral trade in 2023 amounted to EUR 4,621.8 million, exports amounted to EUR 2,447.4 million and imports – EUR 2,174.4 million. The data show that there is potential for expanding cooperation in a number of sectors – food industry and FMCG, organic products, furniture industry, cosmetics, including in terms of the creation of joint ventures for joint entry into third markets, etc.
According to information from the BNB, the total investments from Greece in Bulgaria at the end of 01.01.2024. amount to 3.570 billion. euro.
The forum from the Greek side is expected to be attended by companies from the following sectors: food industry, luxury goods, electricity generation, infrastructure, construction, shipping, industrial production of gyroscopes, security and access control systems, real estate, hospitality, medical equipment, wholesale of plastic raw materials, cybersecurity and risk management, etc.
